REHABILITATION
High-quality physical therapy and home exercise programs are often the most important factors in achieving an excellent outcome following surgery. Even after a perfectly performed procedure, patients will often experience less than perfect results if the postoperative rehabilitation is poor. For this reason, Dr. Nicolay will work closely with your physical therapy team by communicating his postoperative protocols and requesting progress reports at important intervals.
Physical therapy protocols for various diagnoses and procedures can be found below. If you are have questions concerning a protocol or are unable to find a specific protocol, please contact our office.
